Introduction
In this tutorial we will look at the impact of chronic disease and chronic disease risk factors. In part one we focus on the impact of chronic disease on our society. We also look at patterns of chronic diseases and how rates of chronic disease can vary by age, sex, race, ethnicity or geographic location. In part two we’ll look at major risk factors for disease. We will also talk about the role of patient navigators in reducing the burden of chronic disease.
