Module 1: Patient navigation and health disparities

This module starts with an overview of patient navigation, how and why it got started. We will look at the goals of patient navigation and how patient navigation improves patient care. We’ll also look at the different patient navigation model and definitions.

Let’s start by looking at how patient navigation began.
